Gamble Rodgers (State Park - Entrance Fee)

Kick back and relax at one of the area’s most peaceful beaches. Gamble Rodgers is a state park located at the southern end of Flagler county and stretches across A1A to the Intracoastal Waterway. Beachside activities include, shelling, sunbathing, swimming, fishing, and bird watching.   The $5 entrance fee includes use of the Intracoastal side as well and you can venture over there to enjoy trails, a butterfly garden, and kayak and canoe rentals with a ramp into the Intracoastal Waterway.

Fish, surf, paddleboard, sunbathe, and play amid the hub bub of Flagler Beach. Flagler Beach is the area’s funky small eclectic town with a variety of mom and pop shops, a fishing pier, and gorgeous cinnamon sand beaches. Free public parking, life guards during the summer season, and many restaurants and shops within walking distance make this beach a local favorite.

Looking to get away from the crowds at Flagler Beach, but still want to be close to town? Just a few miles north you will reach Beverly Beach where you can relax and enjoy the cinnamon sand beaches without the crowds.   Parking is available along A1A and there is a one of a kind ocean front lodging Si Como No Inn across the street which offers kayak and stand up paddleboard rentals.

Play in the surf, fish, and sunbathe at Varn Park a pet friendly beach. Located mid county this beautiful beach offers plenty of parking and recently updated facilities.

Jungle Hut

Jungle Hut beach is a pet friendly hidden gem located in the peaceful Hammock area of Flagler County. Here you can relax while listening to the waves of the Atlantic Ocean or take a stroll along this 2 acre pristine park.   Parking and facilities are available at this beach.

Old Salt Park

Tucked away down Malacompra Road amid many walking and biking trails Mala Compra beachfront park boasts coquina rock speckled sand. This rock studded beach has ample parking and offers a variety of facilities including a community center that can be reserved by calling (386) 313-4020. HIP Café is located at the beginning of the street and award winning Captains BBQ is located directly across A1A at Bings Landing.  Pet friendly with plenty to do nearby makes this beach a must see destination.


Washington Oaks (State Park - Entrance Fee)

With more than 400 acres to explore, plan to stay the day at Washington Oaks State Park. Explore the coquina studded beach or head across A1A to take delight in the unrivaled beauty of the Gardens. The $5 entrance fee includes beach access as well as admission to the gardens.

River to Sea Preserve

Comprised of a 90 acre stretch between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway River to Sea Preserve boasts white powder sand beaches with an outcropping of rocks that make this beach distinct and beautiful.   Sunbathe, play in the surf, or venture across A1A to use the canoe and kayak launch to explore the Intracoastal Waterway.   Also Marineland Dolphin Adventure is just steps away where you can book your dolphin encounter.   Owned together by Flagler County and the town of Marineland this beach is one not to miss!
